HP reveals keen interest in Smartphone market with new device in development

One of the leading technology brands in the world, HP has made a revelation recently showing its keen interest in the Smartphone market with new device in development, as reports say. Since the smart phone market is booming these days, HP lose wants to take advantage of this scenario by entering in the hottest electronic market.
According to the sources, HP thinks it would be quite ‘Silly’ to not focus on the ongoing Smartphone market which is widely profitable though the company will likely face hard competition. Reports are there that a senior official of HP has made a statement regarding HP’s plans to launch a Smartphone & enter this big market.
Honorable Yam Su Yin from HP told that though company is not going to share deep details regarding the phone but yes the phone was under development and company is all set to enter the Smartphone market worldwide. But there is not any exact launch date confirmed yet.
Well this is not the first attempt in phone development by HP, the former ‘world’s largest PC maker’. The company tried its hands earlier in Windows Mobile during years 2004 to 2009 but since then the company has not commenced any new development till the news came out. CEO of HP Mr. Meg Whitman also stated, “Company would ultimately start making Smartphone again to target developing markets where people are buying Smartphone and tablets in lieu of notebooks.”
Well it is believed that HP will be launching low price Smartphone to hit greater market but will also be facing big competition from Chinese company Huawei which is already ruling the market of low price Smart phones. The estimated date for release of this Smartphone by HP is yet to be confirmed by company itself.
