Sony Launches Smart Watch 2, a “second screen” for Androids smart phones

Sony has officially launched its much awaited SmartWatch 2, which is a successor to its SmartWatch. This new SmartWatch is equipped with a bigger screen of 1.6 inches and the resolution of the screen is also higher – 220 X 176 pixels. Sony is positioning this newly launched watch as an extension screen or second screen for the Android based smart phones of the users. This new watch works  in synchronization with the users smart phone and lets the user receive the android phone’s notifications. Not only this but users can also control their smart phones with this watch.
SmartWatch 2 is an amazing innovation that allows you to access your phone’s notifications like phone messages, emails, calls, twitter notifications, Facebook notifications, Calender etc.  right from your wrist. This watch can also be used as the remote for your phone’s digital media players or walkman. The SmartWatch 2 comes pre-installed with a number of exciting, engaging and useful apps. You can also load more apps in the SmartWatch as per your interests and requirements.
Another significant feature of Sony SmartWatch 2 is that it comes loaded with NFC (Near Field Communication) connectivity.  It can be charged with the help of a standard micro USB cable. These watches can also be customized by users with any kind of standard 24 mm strap.
By launching this watch, Sony has fired the initial salvo and has left the companies like LG, Microsoft, Samsung, Google and Apple far behind in the race of launching smart watches. This year is expected to be the year of smart gadgets and smart watches as many other renowned companies are also developing their smart watches with a bunch of astonishing features that will give astounding usability to the users.
